Henrik and Jessica reached out to me with the exciting news that they were expecting a baby and wanted to take some announcement photos. We met up at Seven Islands Birding Park, and spent the next hour walking through the pretty gardens, talking, watching the sun set and capturing the sweetest pictures.

For this couple’s engagement session, I chose Seven Islands Birding Park as the perfect spot to take their photos. Seven Islands at sunset is my favorite – I love how the light looks on the mountains in the background! So excited for Matt & Mikaila’s wedding next spring – it’s going to be stunning!

This beautiful summer couples session was taken at Seven Islands Birding Park right outside of Knoxville. This session was my first that I’ve shot at this location – and it has quickly become a favorite spot of mine to shoot at!
